4th Annual W1 SOTA 2025 Winter Bonus and Summit to Summit (S2S) Weekend Event!
Saturday December 6th and/or Sunday December 7th, 2025
The WX forecast for the White Mountains of NH this weekend indicates a warming up to a high of about 30F with clouds and sun, possible snow showers and wind gusting between 15 to 30mph depending on elevation. Check WX for your activation summit.
This event was a lot of fun in past years with several participants!
Operate on any ham band from HF to VHF/UHF using any mode from any SOTA summit including the 1 pointers.
2 Meter suggested Frequencies 146.52 and 146.58
Activate any 2 point or higher summit in the W1 Association and receive a 3 Point Winter Bonus!
Target times for activating are between 1500z and 1900z on Saturday and/or Sunday.
Chasers can enjoy making contacts with those on SOTA Summits!
Be sure to put in an Alert on SOTAwatch as soon as you decide the Summit and Time you plan to activate!
Lots of participation means more Activator, S2S and Chaser points!
