I did a quick activation on 1/17/2026.
The recent floodwaters have receded and the property is essentially back to normal, although the fields are still soft and boggy.
I did my activation from the northernmost parking area; I was the only vehicle in the lot. During recent activations (the last few months) I’ve noticed there’s some source of RFI at this norther lot that’s producing intermittent (5-10 minute periods) S4-S5 noise on at least the 20m band.
I’ve not noticed this noise at the southern parking area, so at this point I’d recommend the southern parking area even though it gets more traffic noise and more RFI from passing vehicles.
