Along with limiting the number of times a park can be used for an award, I’m leaning hard toward not accepting n-Fers. In a park with three overlapping references? Pick one.
Having just squandered a perfectly good couple of hours wandering through activator statistics I can say that the effect of n-fers is pretty dramatic. There are some folks out there running up stupendous activation, park, and QSO counts by going to a nearby n-fer to activate pretty much every day. Is that legit? sure, but honestly it doesn’t feel like it’s in the spirit of the whole thing.
But of course that’s just me. Lots of ways to play the POTA game.
No N-Fers. Its abused now.
