Here’s a cool look at 20m POTA right now, I’m sitting in the kitchen running SDR-Control back to the IC-705 up in the study.
This looks great. What is the program, or is it the Icom software? I have an Android phone and tablet but pretty certain other than the 705 Remote software would work for me. I’m thinking on a bike ride with software on a cell phone, I could put my IC 705 securely in the back of the bike, and run a line from the radio to the handlebars and I could do CW while riding. I’d clamp on a 10 meter hamstick and counterpoise dragging behind me.

It’s Marcus Roskosch’s SDR-Control for ICOM (https://ham-radio-apps.com). I think it’s Apple only – might be worth considering a second-hand iPhone for the bike, though. The IC-705 has a built-in WiFi access point, so you wouldn’t need a wire from the phone back to the rig.
I use the wireless access point a lot in the summer, it’s nice to sit under the dogwood in the back yard with a beverage and and iPad and play radio.

Thanks for the info. No, I will stick with my Android
The Android app I referred to does BT as well, but apparently not like what yours will do with the Apple. Maybe a cheap Apple laptop could be found somewhere. I just want to confirm though, you can’t wirelessly do CW can you with the program and the IC 705?
You can! You just need this little gadget: HaliKey MIDI – Halibut Electronics
I was astounded when I plugged a set of paddles in and then plugged into the iPad, it just worked! The only issue I’ve had is that if I try to use Airpods for wireless audio, there’s about a 1ms delay between making key contact and hearing the tone, and it makes me crazy, so I just plug a wired earbud in if I don’t want to disturb anyone.
I’ve used it on both the Mac laptop and the iPad, works a treat.
Wow that is awesome. As for the BT headset, I use Shokz BT and there is no delay when paired to my IC 705 and doing CW. I had another cheap pair that did have the ever so slight delay and it was a pain when sending because it would throw me off. But check out Shokz and it will resolve that issue.
