Web tools?

Hunters, what web-based tools are you using? I’m not using any right now – I just open PoLo and hunt from there – but I’m curious about them.

I’ve run into two, Krinkle’s HunterLog - krinkl3’s docsite and a new one, https://potahunter.com. They both can send CAT to an attached rig.

The one I’ve slightly been trying with his POTA Buddy.

It is a creation of KE9BOS (Brett) of vailmorse.com. its a little more streamlined than POTAs.

This is very helpful:

I want to talk about tools for activators for a bit. Actually more specifically I want to talk about a tool I want which either doesn’t exist or is not known to me.

The tool I want is essentially a better way to view RBN spots for my own callsign. I can look at the RBN webpage, it gives me ways to filter spots. I type in my callsign as the Spotted (dx) call, it shows me a map of where I’ve been spotted and gives me a list of spots that includes S/N numbers.

I want those data, but combined into one visual presentation, where I can look at just the map and see both where I’m being spotted and what my signal is like. Different size dots, maybe different color dots, I don’t know. Ideally it would show how old the spot is as well, so I’d get spot location, S/N, and spot age all in one ‘read at a glance’ presentation so that I could flick from my logger to the web browser, look at the map and apprehend the data, and flick back and be ready to catch a callsign in the time it takes my radio to send the recorded CQ.
